Our Mission
First and foremost, we strive to foster a lifelong passion for literature, learning, and technology. We support SCPS curriculum and learning standards by collaborating with other staff and implementing the AASL Standards for the 21st Century Learner to develop and maintain student information literacy.

I LOVE books, reading, and technology. I believe the Library Media Center is the heart of the school: a place of investigation, exploration, collaboration, creativity, and creation.
My goal is to ignite a passion for learning and inspire a lifelong love of reading. I strive to create an environment that supports all learners as they read, write, research, listen, view, create, and share using appropriate sources and tools as ethical members of a local and global community of learners.
Media Center Clerk

This is my second year as the media center clerk, and I have loved every minute that I have been here. I could not think of a better place to work or a better group of people to work with.
I love to see the kids' faces light up when they find a book that they like. In a book, a child can be anything he or she wants to be and go anywhere they want to go. I hope to help the students find a love for reading and a hunger to always want to learn more.
